Genevieve Weaver lived by a simple mantra… men seeking comfort in the arms or beautiful strangers are like flies drawn to a spider’s bed. It was that very simple analogy on which Genevieve built her call service, The House of Silk. Home to Las Venganzas’ most desirable and high-priced ladies of the evening, Genevieve took her business acumen and keen eye for beauty to create an empire that even City Hall could be envious of. And that therein lay the problem… empires can crumble like webs in a windstorm.

When approached by “unofficial” representatives for the Mayor of Las Venganzas about purchasing partial ownership of her business, Genevieve promptly dismissed them as opportunistic deadbeats that would only result in a large gash in her revenue stream. It did not take long for said associates to pay a return visit and wire up Genevieve and her ladies to the neon sign outside of the building.

In a convenient twist of fate for narrative purposes, Genevieve amazingly survived not only electrocution, but death by the bite of a nest of black widows that had built their home in the parlor sign. The combination of neon, electricity and widow venom predictably had extraordinary effects, turning this scorned madam into the vindictive yet stunning Harlot’s Web.

Powers & Abilities

  • Silk Stalker. Genevieve instills justice via a simple yet effective one-two energy punch. Elegant in its simplicity.
  • Behind the Red Door. Business owners need to be keen on escape clauses, and Harlot’s Web takes it literally by creating an energy pocket on the field that allows her to teleport virtually anywhere on the field of battle.
  • Entrapment. Genevieve leaves the opposition in a sticky mess, coating the terrain with viscous energy webbing. Venganzas defense attorneys are rumored to have broken the fourth wall to see if said powers infringe upon lesser known hero abilities… they’ll try anything to stop Harlot’s Web.
